LOCATION: NSA Annapolis, The Green at Greenbury Point Cottages
Nestled between the new Greenbury Point Cottages (opening Fall 2023), Mill Creek Pier, and beautiful walking trails overlooking the Chesapeake Bay, The Green is an expansive recreational area ideal for the Great Navy Campout. Just minutes from the base - tour historic Annapolis and the U.S. Naval Academy.
NEW FOR 2023 -- We are excited about a new program this year called "Pledge to Camp" (and we think you will be too). As a participant, you will be asked to register your camping experiences and provide details of your adventure including the date, how many people camped, and the activities you participated in. And the best part? At the end of each month, two $500 gift cards to an outdoor adventure store will be awarded -- one for a family and the other for a junior Sailor. And that's not all, at the end of the event in October, a grand prize winner will be awarded a gift card worth $3,000 (family) and $1,500 (junior Sailor). ACTIVITIES: Campfire, movie under the stars, knot tying workshop, outdoor first aid workshop, basic survival training workshop, and sunrise yoga!
